Biostimulators are a type of injectable that stimulates the skin’s natural production of collagen. Pallineo is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) based biostimulator, a synthetic biodegradable absorbed naturally by the body that stimulates collagen production for up to 24 months.1,3  

It is recommended that following the initial treatment, a total of 3-touch ups spaced 4-6 weeks apart is performed. However, the actual number of treatments needed will vary based on the treatment plan determined by you and your aesthetic professional. 

Most clinical study participants saw results within 8 weeks, with sustained results for up to 24 months. Typical treatment is 4 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Please work with your aesthetics professional on a treatment plan to determine treatment results expectations. 

After treatment, please massage the treated area to evenly distribute Pallineo. Please, massage the injected area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days in a row to promote natural-looking results.

Yes. Pallineo has received both KFDA and CE approvals, which require demonstration of safety and efficacy through clinical trial evidence. Pallineo is made of a synthetic biodegradable material called poly-L-lactic acid that is absorbed naturally by the body and is commonly used in dissolvable stitches. 

Potential side effects may include injection site pain, blood loss, redness, induration, bruising, tenderness, bleeding, and fever. To minimise the risk of side effects, please seek licensed practitioners for the injection of Pallineo. The types and duration of side effects may vary. If you are experiencing side effects, talk to your doctor.  

Specialists who have been trained to inject PLLA biostimulator products and are licensed to practice within the state may administer treatment. This can include physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other trained personnel. 

No. Pallineo injections are generally not considered painful. The procedure typically involves applying lidocaine cream to the face to numb the skin prior to the treatment. If you have a low pain tolerance or are concerned about treatment discomfort, please speak to your aesthetic professional to personalise your treatment.
